These are ‘Happy Days!’

Where children learn through having fun, whilst being given structure.  Somewhere between the structure of school, and the wonder of play.  We pride ourselves on the care and safety we provide.

Our Promise

Our purpose is to make a positive difference in your child’s life. We offer a warm, loving atmosphere for your children from the age of two through to school age.

Life at Happy Days is designed to enhance the development of each child by learning through play whilst progressing at their own pace.

We recognise the importance of supporting and encouraging each child in accordance to their age, stage of development, ability and personal needs. This is fundamental to their individual learning journey, as we prepare them for school life.

Our commitment to our children is to Play, Learn and Grow Together.

We aim to enable our children to be ‘school ready’ once they have reached the end of their time at Happy Days Pre-school.

We provide a welcoming, safe and happy environment. Each child receives stimulation correctly levelled at his/her own age and stage of development. We believe that every child can maximize their potential.

Our staff demonstrate skill, pride and passion in our setting and strive to provide high quality care to Happy Days children.  We want to show our children and their parents that learning is fun.

We aim to:

Provide high quality care and education for all our children.

Work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop.

Add to the life and well being of our local community.

Offer children and their families a service that promotes equality and values diversity.

Happy Days Pre-school is a Charity

Happy Days Pre School is a charitable organisation (charity number 1029859) proud to be managed by a parent committee.  This means not only do you as a parent get an active input into your child’s education, but all fees and other income generated go back into the education of your children.

OFSTED Regulated

The pre-school is an OFSTED registered setting and has the capacity for a maximum of 24 children to attend per session. We provide pre-school education for children between the ages of 2 through to 4 from Nettlebed and the surrounding areas. We operate during the school term time only.

Upstream

We have very good links with Nettlebed Community School, which enables us to engage in a range of shared activities, resources and facilities with the main school. This familiarises our pre-school children with the primary school and their staff, helping to aid their transition to school.

Kirsty

Our Deputy Manger, with a wealth of experience in childcare facilities.  As a mother of two she enjoys spending time with her family.  When not teaching children at pre-school, she enjoys swimming, and drawing…  Both she does well.

Debbie

Also a mother of two, her understanding of children’s fertile minds, imagination and thrill of new things is second too none.  When not at pre-school she enjoys knitting, cross stitch, crochet, & reading.

Laura

At home she is a mother of two girls and enjoys spending her time with family activities.  At pre-school she loves engaging with the children in all activities, especially messy play!

Shelley

A mother of two wonderful girls, Shelly enjoys exploring the great outdoors when not sculpting young minds at work.  Putting us all to shame, she is great at long distance running!

Chloe Ann

Loves pre-school, loves the kids and loves her job.  Outside of Happy Days she is a mother of two, enjoys baking, and spending time with family, and the dog.
